First Try At Garden DIY
Moving in to a new build a year and a half ago meant that we could do up our home to be exactly what we wanted. It also meant a lot of work and even after being here for over a year we are still only about 30% there..if that. The one thing however, that is really niggling at me is the garden. When we moved in, our new garden was already all turfed and it looked beautiful, but in reality it was a bog until end of summer last year. We wanted to get straight on with making it a nice place for our son and the two pups to…

6 Amazing Home Items On My Wishlist
When I buy electrical items/appliances for the home now, I tend to look for the wireless/WiFi options. As a full time mum to a toddler and a full time blogger, anything that makes my life easier is very much appreciated. Being a blogger means constantly using a laptop, mobile, tablet, camera, printer and being a mum means having to watch my little one around all of these things. I struggle as it is to get the house work done and having to regularly hoover up mess for example can be a huge chore when having to set up and plug in the vacuum cleaner every time. Simple things like listening…

2017…So Far
Yes we are only in to the first few weeks of 2017 but I feel so much has happened already. I totally wasn’t ready for the Christmas period to be over and to get back to reality but it had to happen eventually! 2016 really wasn’t my favourite year however there were lots of amazing things that did happen. The main event was getting engaged to the father of my beautiful boy whilst the two of us were away in Milan. Our trip to Milan was one I had won that year so I really did have some amazing things happen when I look back. I don’t really want to look…

My Top 8 Christmas Decor Hacks
Whilst I do get very excited about the idea of putting up my Christmas decorations, the reality of actually doing it isn’t always as fun. From spending what seems like forever getting everything out of the loft to spending 30+ mins sat sorting out the Christmas tree branches on our artificial tree. Add our now 3 year old in to the mix and putting up our decorations can very quickly go from festive fun to a Christmas catastrophe. There are some things that I do find help make life easier – my décor hacks and whilst some may be very obvious I am going to share my secrets with…

Glamping in style
Anyone who knows me well will know how much I am not a fan of camping/roughing it! I hate bugs, creepy crawlies and I hate being cold. So you can imagine how much I was dreading staying in a wigwam in October! Basically It was my dad’s 50th in June and I struggled to know what to get him that was special. I knew he just wanted to spend time with me and I know he loves camping so I decided to bite the bullet and buy a voucher for us all to go, and put aside my dislike of it (on this one occasion). I thought we would plan…

Scream Factory – Review
I am a big fan of Halloween however since having my son 3 years ago we no longer really celebrate it or do anything Halloween-ish because he was born on that day. Now the 31st October is just our son’s birthday to us and we want to keep it that way until he tells me he no longer wants a party and just wants to go trick or treating with friends…yes the thought already makes me want to cry. I always see photos of people dressed up and going to parties and although I am more than happy to be dedicating my full time to my little one at this…
