Moozels cowboy onesie & Viking hat – Review

If you have been following Supermummy Secrets for a while then you will more than likely be familiar with a fabulous company called Gumigem Teething Jewellery. I have been working closely with the lovely ladies from Gumigem for a while and completely support and love everything they do. So when they contacted me regarding a new product they were working on, I was obviously very excited!

Introducing the new Moozels Childrenswear – Children’s clothing with a twist! Nowadays we have so much more choice when it comes to baby/childrenswear and parent’s really like to go all out on the super cute outfits for their little ones. However one common problem with these gorgeous outfits/costumes is the fact that they aren’t practical. Unless you dress your little one in a standard babygrow you end up having an annoying mix of buttons, zips and poppers to open before being able to change the nappy of/undress a child. This is why Moozels is just genius! The cowboy onesie looks like a full blown outfit however is just a simple, uncomplicated babygrow with the usual poppers meaning easy access to change nappies. As well as the fabulous babygrows, Moozels also offer various different fun children’s items such as knitted viking hats and coming soon are fun hoody tops with light and sound.

There are various different styles of babygrows available from ballerinas to firemen with more styles to come.

The Cowboy babygrow which I was delighted to receive was so colourful and had the most adorable little tassles going down the sides of the legs. I was so suprised at how much it looked like an actual outfit once on rather than just a onesie and my little guy was very comfortable and really enjoyed wearing it. The material was neither thick nor thin which meant he wasn’t getting too hot in it but with a vest underneath it could be worn for parties as fancy dress. It was also fine as a bed time onesie or just something fun to wear around the house. My son is 19 months and quite big for his age, this onesie fit him with a bit of room left over so it was perfect for an average sized 18 months – 2 year old. The onesie was also great as it only had about 4/5 poppers between the legs rather than like some of the onesies that seem to have a million! I really loved this babygrow on my son and he just looked adorable, I can see myself buying the other boys designs. The babygrow was very reasonably priced at only £14.95 and was a lot cheaper than buying a cowboy costume for my son!

The knitted Viking hat which also arrived with the cowboy babygrow was just the cutest thing. My son is at that age where he loves things like putting hats on, sunglasses on and opening and closing doors….these seem to be some of the favourites at the moment. So I just knew he was going to love trying this hat on (‘at’ as he would pronounce it). It was a little big for his head but he had the biggest grin on his little face and kept touching it to make sure it was still on his head. He loved the horns and I found it absolutely hysterical and cute at the same time. It was perfect for if your child doesn’t want to do full fancy dress as the hat alone was fun enough! It was great for keeping the head warm, which I suppose isn’t exactly a necessity right now with us approaching Summer. It was so so soft and comfortable, which was also great for children who can’t cope wearing masks/helmets or just generally anything even slightly uncomfortable on their head. You could tell it was of a really good quality and had been made very well. There are currently two different colours and both are very reasonably priced also at only £7.95 with sizes from 0 – 8 years.

This website is definitely one to watch with new designs being added regularly and lots of new fun children’s clothing in the pipeline. The postage costs are kept very low also with second class at only £1.95 and first only £2.50. I was so suprised at how great they were for my almost toddler however can see what a blessing the clothing will be for new parents of very young babies. Especially with them being so comfortable and practical.
